Quality Inn Arkansas City North

The rooms were very clean, the swim pool was shut down for maintenance and the candy machine and ice machine didn't work. They need more then 1 bag for dirty laundry. But I will stay there again because the people there are so friendly and the beds were so comfortable.

It has a very cute design. It used to be an outdoor motel style but had a roof installed so the pool is now inside. There is also a really cute game area. The room was clean and organized. The check in and check out was easy. The breakfast was nice with cereal hot breakfast and yogurts and a good selection of drinks. The room had a slight smell but dissipated after a few minutes. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Great place for the price! A little nostalgic in decor. And the maintenance was a little shanky -- Had some sharp metal bars that stuck out from the bed that were shin hazards. But over all the hotel was clean. We rented two room and had a mini vacation weekend with grand kids. The video arcade was a little shanty and most of the games didn't work but the grandkids ages 2,3,and 4 didn't care. and the main counter was great about giving us our money back for games that didn't work. The bigger kids really enjoyed the pool table even though it too cost money. The pool and hot tub was great - smelled a little strong but served it's purpose. The grand kids loved the double decker rooms and even did laps (quietly) to run off energy. Loved the fact they allowed animals as our Dog was a great asset to our mini vacation and there was a great area inside to throw a Frisbee or a ball to play catch. will definitly visit again!!!

After reading the reviews I found after I checked in that you have to take reviews with a grain of salt. I traveled with my family which consisted of three children and we stayed for the night but found the hotel to be quiet the rooms were nice The beds were a little hard but manageable. The pool unfortunately was already closed for the night but it looked clean as well as the hot tub. There was also in the atrium area next to that a pool table and several games that you could play. There was an enclosed breakfast area for the free breakfast that was available. The free breakfast was amazing as well as the customer service. The only small complaint I had was the fact that the room that I had was connected to an adjoining room, and apparently someone else had checked in way after we had gone to bed and I didn't realize it was an adjoining room and the door was not locked and they actually walked into our room and woke my son up. The gentleman quickly turned around and left but he did apologize before leaving. I do want to add that if you forgot a wall charger that they have built-in chargers on the lamps that were on top of where the television was and also where the lamps were between the two beds. Overall very satisfied with my stay and the next time that I go back to Ark City to visit family I will definitely booking a room there!

Crashed here in the middle of the night after car broke down. Super understanding staff, helped us out, super friendly as well. Air conditioning didn’t work at first, but staff helped almost immediately. Woke up, breakfast is stocked well. Left feeling full and satisfied :)

Absolutely hidden Gem, Ive stayed a week!! I actually rolled my eyes on some of these ignorant reviews, the entrance too steep, dirty rooms, rude employees, continental breakfast WAH WAH WAH, this hotel charges a price you can afford, my room spotless, they actually clean your room everyday if you prefer, employees are always cleaning, such a unique hotel, yes the breakfast is simple but for what you actually pay for the room it's a blessing, be grateful. Bed comfortable, air conditioner keeps room comfortable, indoor pool in an atrium, video games for the kids and pool table ( yes you actually have to pay to use them just like everywhere else DUH!!!) The lights in the room are touch sensitive with plugs in, and rooms are spacious. Some of the entitlement of the previous reviews is absurd. My goodness people go pay $150 for a room then you have a right to complain. This is a hotel where you get more for the price you pay. Very Accommodating and AFFORDABLE!!!! I would give more stars if I could!!!!!

Bathtub was a little small but otherwise a great experience

This is a decent place to stay Did not see any justification for the attack 'reviews'. Staff is all super friendly. Building is very unique with a HUGE atrium indoor pool area and it is built out of concrete so its like a giant tornado bunker. Room was clean , all new paint , new linens & towels . Bed was comfy , new mw & fridge. Room could use a table to sit at for a work space but nbd. The breakfast room was well organized and maintained , waffles , yogurt etc. My only request there would be some mw bfast sandwiches or pre packaged boiled eggs, I can understand not having a hot buffet during the slow travel seasons. Some folks need to quit making up complaints about weird 'smells' ... its called an indoor pool Small Chlorine /pool smell in some places , but not something to complain about. Maybe when the weather is nice they can ventilate more often, fans , open windows. In all - this is a respectable family run hotel and I'd stay again anytime
